Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 de outubro de 2026

BeatPass LLC ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

Information you provide

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), profile picture.
  • Purchase data: billing address, payment method details (handled by our payment processors — we never store full card numbers, only the last four digits, to show you which card paid).
  • Communications: messages you send to our support team.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL.
  • Usage data: pages visited, events viewed, tickets purchased, time spent on pages.
  • Location data: approximate geolocation (city/country) derived from your IP address, and precise location only if you grant browser permission for "events near you" functionality.

Information from third parties

  • If you sign in via Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.
  • Payment processors (Stripe, MercadoPago, PayPal) may share transaction confirmation details with us.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To process ticket purchases and deliver QR-coded tickets.
  • To send transactional emails (order confirmations, QR delivery, event reminders).
  • To calculate and credit promoter commissions to RaverWallet.
  • To show personalized event recommendations based on your location and browsing history.
  • To detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Sharing of Information

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

  • Payment processors: Stripe, MercadoPago, and PayPal receive payment information to process transactions. Each provider has its own privacy policy.
  • Event organizers: the organizer sells the tickets to their event, and receives the data of their attendees and guestlist through the event panel and the attendee list export: name, ticket and batch, price paid, order reference, purchase date and payment method, the promoter who referred the sale, whether it was bought on resale or at the door, and check-in time. The organizer processes this data as its controller for their own use, solely to run the event (access, security, attendee service and their legal obligations), must keep it secure and delete it once no longer needed. The export does not include your email address, and contacting you for promotions requires your consent.
  • The organizer's team and partners: an organizer may give the people of their team, the production companies they co-produce an event with and single-event collaborators access to that event in their panel. Each of them sees only what the organizer allowed: the attendee list and its export only with the "see attendees" permission, the post-event report only with the "report and sales" permission, the event's settlement and payouts only with the "view finances" permission, and at the door what door staff see. Recent orders with buyers' names appear in the organization's analytics only to those allowed to see attendees. They act on the organizer's behalf and under the organizer's responsibility, for the same purposes and on the same terms; the organizer remains the seller and the controller of that data.
  • If you are an organizer: you are the seller of the tickets to your events, so the legal name, tax identification number and address in your billing details are printed on the receipt of every buyer of those events, and your name is shown on the event page, at checkout, on the ticket and in the confirmation email. Consumer law requires a buyer to be told who they are buying from, and you agree to it in section 7 of the Terms. Nothing else from your billing details, and nothing from your payout account, is shown to buyers.
  • RaverPass support: to help an organizer who needs it, authorised RaverPass staff may open that organizer's panel and work in it as one of its administrators would. They see there what the organizer sees, every change is recorded under the staff member's own account, and the organizer's owner and administrators are told about it. Changing the account an organizer is paid into still requires the owner's own confirmation.
  • If you are an organizer selling paid tickets: the tax details you register (legal name, tax id, address and whether you act as a company or a sole trader) appear on your buyers' receipts and on the invoices we issue to you. When you are established in the European Union, we check your tax id against the European Commission's VIES registry and keep its answer. Where we pay you through Stripe Connect, your legal name and tax id are passed to Stripe to open your payout account, and Stripe verifies your identity under its own privacy policy.
  • Door staff: the people an organizer appoints to work the door of an event see, for that event only and until it is over, the name, email, batch and status of each ticket they scan or look up, solely to admit attendees and under the organizer's responsibility.
  • If you are door staff: the organizer who added you sees your email, and every scan you make is recorded under your name (see below). This record is kept with the rest of the event's data, as described in Data Retention.
  • Organizers you follow: when you follow an organizer's page, we tell you about the new events they publish, by email and, if you switch it on, by push notification, according to the preferences in your profile's Notifications tab, where you can also stop following them. Every notice carries a link to those preferences. The organizer sees how many people follow them and aggregate figures (for example, how many followers bought a ticket), never who you are or your contact details.
  • Organizers' campaign links: when you arrive through a link an organizer shared (for example in their Instagram bio or on a flyer's QR code), we note which link it was on the visit described in section 4, without cookies. The organizer sees, per link, how many visits it brought and how many tickets were bought for their own events, as totals, never who you are or your contact details. These links pay no one and change no price.
  • Access log: every scan at the door records the ticket holder, the result, the time, who scanned it and their IP address, and a purchase made at the door records who sold it, to prevent fraud and resolve disputes about admission. The event's organizer can see this record for their event.
  • Service providers: cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics tools that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and remember your language and currency preferences. We use no analytics or advertising cookies. Players from YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud and maps from Google Maps set their own cookies, so they load only if you allow them in the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to change your choice.

Audience measurement: we count visits to the platform ourselves, with no third-party analytics and no additional cookie: a visit is tied to the session cookie the platform already uses. For each visit we record only where it came from (the link's campaign tags, or the website or app that sent it), the page it started on, the number of pages seen, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer) and the language. We do not store your IP address or your browser's identifier. When you create an account or buy a ticket, we note which visit it came from, so we can tell which sources bring sign-ups and sales; RaverPass staff only ever read these figures as totals per source. Visits are deleted after 13 months, and none is recorded when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Purchase records are kept for 7 years to comply with accounting and tax regulations. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Your Rights below), though some data may be retained for legal compliance.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: request that we delete your account and associated data.
  • Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
  • Restriction: request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@raverpass.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption for data in transit, bcrypt hashing for passwords, and access controls limiting who can view personal data internally. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

8. Children's Privacy

RaverPass is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
